SHIPPING

Our company offers free shipping, via USPS, on orders that total $50 and up.

Orders that total under $50 are shipped, via USPS, at a flat rate of $3.50.

Please note that when coupon codes are applied, reaching the $50 threshold is based on the actual dollar amount of the purchase total – not the original product prices – prior to tax (if any).

ORDER TIMELINE

Most handcrafted kismet & moxie jewelry is shipped within 3 to 7 business days of receiving the order. Oftentimes, orders process faster than that but a faster processing time cannot be guaranteed. Orders of pre-made items will always process sooner and be shipped to you sooner than items that are made-to-order.  Please continue to read for more information and explanation.

a product is pre-made and ready to ship

if the product is made-to-order after the order is received

Both are handmade but the pre-made is already created and ready for shipping while the made-to-order products can take up to 7 business days to be created for you before being shipped.

You’ll find that some items offer a few options. For example, from a provided list of choices, you might choose the crystal colors or words stamped on the piece; these items are made-to-order specific to your requests and created after the order is placed.

If you’re going a step further and purchasing an item that allows for entering a custom option (the item includes a place to order something different than the already provided list of choices — for example, a word or phrase that you type in or a different combination of colors than that in the list provided), that’s fantastic! You’ll have something custom made just for you. In this case, I’ll be creating your piece from the very beginning steps, so please expect it to take longer to process.

Please note that made-to-order and custom items cannot be returned. Returns, exchanges and refunds are not granted on any purchases in which the item was made after the order was placed. So please be sure that any options or choices that you are making are exactly as you want them to be before finalizing the order and making payment. HANDMADE DISCLAIMER

The product you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product being handmade.

Care for your new product(s):

  • store your jewelry well and treat it in a way that it doesn’t get tangled or bent
  • take great care when adjusting cuff bracelets to fit on and off your wrist; bend slightly as they are soft metals and not made for extreme bending and pulling
  • avoid getting it wet; remove jewelry before swimming, showering and exercising
  • avoid spraying perfume, hair spray or other beauty/personal products onto it
  • keep out of the reach of small children and pets

Your product(s) can be damaged if the following occurs:

  • excess pressure is applied or the jewelry is forced, pulled or twisted in any manner
  • it ends up being machine washed
  • it’s exposed to water or other liquids (especially if the design is hand stamped or includes glue or leather)

SIZE

I design items based on standard sizes for jewelry, though this does not guarantee the best fit for everyone. To prevent errors in ordering, please pay special attention to the length of the jewelry you purchase.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Some designs can have changes made to them. If you’re seeking a special order that’s not offered in the options and the listing does not provide a place for customization, please contact me so we can chat about possibilities. I’d love to do your custom order if it’s within my scope of doing so! If it is, I’ll also include a quote and expected timeframe for your jewelry to be crafted and sent to you.

Please keep in mind that custom orders have a lengthier process time and may not be returned for a refund or exchange.

RETURNS

Our return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately a refund or exchange cannot be made.

Please write an email to hello@kismetandmoxie.com regarding any returns you would like to make within 14 days of purchase. Possible options, such as exchange or refund, will be determined and you will receive an email with further information. If the item is returnable (for example, it’s not a custom piece), you will receive the address to ship the items you wish to return (at your expense) and a Return Authorization Number (RAN). The item must be returned in its original condition, original packaging, and include a receipt of your purchase along with the RAN issued to you.

Sale items are non-refundable.

Items in any “Trunk Show” category are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Made-to-order, personalized and custom items are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged.

If any item has a defect or was otherwise damaged during shipping, please contact me at hello@kismetandmoxie.com within 48 hours of receiving it so that I can immediately get to taking care of you. Thanks!

Gift cards are non-returnable.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to kismet & moxie until you have contacted us at hello@kismetandmoxie.com and you have received our email response with return instructions, an RAN, and terms communicated.

Refunds

To receive a full refund, an item must be returned with proof of purchase and the Return Authorization Number received from us via email. (Please refer to the above section titled “Returns” for more information regarding that email and RAN.) All items must also be in their original condition and original packaging. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and the status of your refund.

If all refund requirements are met, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items will not be refunded although store credit (in the form of a gift card) may be an option if returned according to the requirements in our return policy.

Exchanges

We only replace an item if it is defective or damaged upon receipt. This is the only situation in which the exchange of product is made. If you need to exchange a defective or damaged item for a new one, within 48 hours of receiving it send an email to hello@kismetandmoxie.com. Upon approval of the exchange, you will receive an email to provide you with the required Return Authorization Number and further instruction.

Shipping for refunds

To return your product, refer to the “Returns” section above for our return policy and requirements.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
